Only 11 days remain until the deadline for the 8th Seattle International Piano Competition.
In addition to the cash prizes available to all fully competitive divisions, all invited finalists may also compete for additional distinctions, including a jurors’ award for the best performance of a Transcendental Etude by Franz Liszt, a work by Isaac Albéniz, or a Sonata by Antonio Soler, as well as an audience favorite award and teachers’ favorite award (in each category).
(Note that special prizes are awarded based on final programs during October, 2019; participants needn’t include them in their preliminary recordings to be eligible.)
