The 11th Virtuoso Artists Festival International is Now Open for Entries
The Seattle International Piano Festival proudly announces the 11th Virtuoso Artists Festival International (VAFI)—an online celebration of Romantic, Impressionistic, and Contemporary music. Open to pianists, instrumentalists, and chamber ensembles of all ages and nationalities, this festival provides an inclusive opportunity for musicians to perform, grow, and share their artistry from anywhere in the world through YouTube submissions.
This year’s prestigious adjudication panel includes Dr. Junheng Chen, Dr. Daniel Linder, Dr. Alexander Tutunov, Dr. Francis Yang, and Dr. Xiting Yang, offering constructive written feedback to every participant. Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded, with certificates for all.
Bonus for 2025 Participants
Enjoy a free ticket to the September 14 concert featuring Dominic Doutney (United Kingdom)—2024 SIPC Professional Gold Medalist and rising international star. Doutney has dazzled audiences across Europe and North America, including recent performances at the Kennedy Center, Wigmore Hall, and a recital tour of Italy.
Participants may compete in several divisions, including solo piano or instrumental, multiple works, concerto, and chamber music. The festival emphasizes expressive performance of music from the Romantic, Impressionistic, and Modern eras, with detailed age categories to ensure fair and meaningful evaluation. Repertoire can include complete miniatures, full movements, or a group of contrasting works within the time limit for each age level.
