Congratulations to the 2015 Classical Viennese Festival winners from yesterday’s Festival. We wish to thank the hard working students for their dedication and participation, as well as their gifted teachers who prepared them so well, and parents for their tireless support. Our thanks also to our three adjudicators, Jane Harty, Julia Lee, and Ilia Radoslavov. It is a difficult job to have to decide between the student performers, all of whom had artistic merit and who had worked very hard.
Lastly, brava to Helena Azevedo for her beautiful performance last night of works by Villa-Lobos, Guarnieri, Nazareth, and de Falla. A very touching, tumultuous, and tender performance. Thank you!
