Important Classical Fest Changes
With categories for sonatas of the classical era greats (Haydn, Beethoven, Mozart) among others, the SIPF invites pianists and instrumentalists to compete for medals and decorations by an esteemed panel of adjudicators in this virtual competitive event. Note the newest changes, including the deadline.
April Deadline Changes
The new deadline for the 2024 Classical Viennese Festival is Thursday, April 11. For those participants who have already submitted their applications and video entries, they may submit a replacement video at their option by the new deadline using the Online Video Submission link found in the complete rules.

Now International
Although the CVF has always accepted international participants, the festival has been named the Classical Viennese Festival International. All certificates and diplomas will bear this new moniker.
Award Changes
With SIPF’s partner arts organization, we are pleased to announce a special discount to select participants of the CVF to attend the Amici Summer Music Festival in Malibu, California. A scholarship of $300 for two weeks-full term and $150 for one week program for the second 2024 Amici International Music Festival in Malibu, California (pending a successful audition) to all gold and silver medalists. Other awards are as follows:
- Distinguished Gold Medalist. A gold medal, diploma, and adjudicator comment sheet. All distinguished gold medalists will have their winning videos linked to the awards page. Additionally, the top four DG medalists will be selected to participate, free of charge, in a special master class with the international jury of the 2024 Seattle International Piano Competition on Friday, September 20. - Gold Medalist. A gold medal, diploma, and adjudicator comment sheet, as well as a listing on the awards page. All gold medalists will receive a scholarship for participation in the Amici International Music Festival as listed above.
- Silver Medalist. A silver medal, diploma, and adjudicator comment sheet, as well as a listing on the awards page. All silver medalists will receive a scholarship for participation in the Amici International Music Festival as listed above.
- Bronze Medalist. A bronze medal, diploma, and adjudicator comment sheet, as well as a listing on the awards page.
- Honorable Mention. A diploma and adjudicator comment sheet, as well as a listing on the awards page.
