Due to requests from teachers and colleagues, the revised deadline for the Classical Viennese Festival has been published. Participants have two more days to prepare their recordings for submission. Although this deadline has been extended, the original deadline (March 27) still marks the dividing line for age category determination. For example, those turning age 10 on March 28 are still considered age 9 for the purposes of age determination for the 2022 Classical Viennese Festival, even if the participant records and submits a performance on March 29.

This festival highlights works of what is commonly known as the classical era of music, typically including works of iconic composers of the period such as Beethoven, Haydn, and Mozart.
